HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET ANGEL, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU........

i can't believe that my sweet baby girl is eleven. where did the time go? i only blinked once, i promise. it is funny, my dad used to say the older you get the faster time goes. i know that, but now it seems that i am at an age where i actually feel the time whizzing by me.

i can remember everything about this precious baby's wonderful journey into the world. i am thankful for all the memories. but most of all i am thankful to be her mother. what a blessing you are to me hannah. you are growing up into a beautiful, smart, sweet , kind, loving, adorable, strong in your faith young lady. and it delights me that i have the priveledge of knowing you.

i remember those ten dark years with out you. how sad i was. i missed you before you were even born. i knew you would be great. i knew you would be precious. that is why my heart ached for you so. i remember holding you, never wanting to put you down. i remember when you were little like it was yesterday.

i am so proud of you. the young woman that you are becoming. i remember after first finding out that i was pregnant with you. i had just come home from school in little elem. and the phone rang. the nurse on the other end of the phone asked is this kim poynor? i said yes. she then asked if i was sitting down. i said no i am too excited, and she said it is positive you are pregnant. she told me to continue the shots of progesterone, for the next 13 weeks. i was floating on air. david was standing right there, with the biggest grin on his face. but i think he already knew. i told the nurse thank you.

we spent the rest of the night calling people to let them know our wonderful news. there are no words to express how excited we were. the first person we called was lisa. everyone was so excited. then of course we went out to eat.

i also remember when you were born. i was going in for my once a month check up after school. i was 36 weeks. when i got there the doc. said my blood pressure was high. he checked it several times and then told me that they had better induce. i asked if i could call my mom. so they checked me in and induced me. it didn't hurt. but boy did i release alot of water.

the next morning, around 8:50 they came in to check me and there was blood on the sheets. and our heart rate was falling. so they did an emergency c-section. you were born at 9:09 on a wednesday morning. so many people came up to see you. jj, robi, meems and pawpaw, lisa, jan, steve, neenee and papa, terry and susan, with morgan and racheal,amy and wayned and sarah and the bubba's, and so many people from the church we were attending.

we all just sat around and visited and took turns holding you. so thankful for the blessing that God had bestowed on us.

i love you baby girl, forever and always. may God's richest blessing follow you all the days of your life. great things.... great things are in store for you.

what a wonderful trip...........

* i had such a wonderful trip home. we got home about 6:50 p.m. friday night. we were greeted at one of my favorite restaurants in san angelo. terry, dana, meems, lisa, ro-ro were there to give us wonderful hugs. it wa so good to see everyone. we just sat and ate and visisted for about two hours. then we went to lisa's house and sat up until 11. that was good for us. sometimes we can't quiet make it to that time. but we did.

* on saturday, we got up and ate breakfast. we had so much fun. then it was off tosassy fox. they carry brighton jewlry. lisa wanted to get the matching necklace for the bracelet and earrings i had gotten her for her birthday. we went there and then to eggemeyers and then to merle norman. we finally found what she was looking for at merle norman. they have a pretty good selection of brighton there.

*after that we decided to have lunch at lisa's favorite restuarant, mcallisters. then we were off to the mall. i had given the girls some money and lisa wanted to go to bealls. we left the mall about 5:30 and went home for about thirty minutes.

* we got to zuccinis, h's favorit restaurant, at about 6:15. there were alot of people there. she had a nice birthday. after supper, we all went to lisa's house to visit. everybody was there. it was so nice. we just sat and visited. till about 11:00. we had so much fun.

* the next day, we went to church. THAT WAS FANTASTIC. we just hugged on everybody, and they hugged on us. what a wonderful time was spents loving on old friends.

* after church, i got to spend a glorious two hours with rdub. oh how i miss our time together. but we had a very successful time shopping. we only had to go to one store. don't you just love that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we picked out so many outfits. wow!!!! did she look hot!!!!! you go rdub. but the best part was just being with my dear sweet friend like old times. i love u baby girl. what a blessing you are to me. can't wait til our next date.

* after a wonderful time shopping, lisa and ro-ro, fixed me and the girls and the fam. a PHENOMINAL STEAK DINNER. IT WAS OFF THE HOOK. RO-RO YOU ROCK. the steaks were so tender and juicy. it was better than at a steak house. we just enjoyed each others company until 9:30. everyone had to leave to get ready for work.

* today, i met lisa for lunch with the girls. lisa took a long lunch so we could eat together one more time. i then left the girls with pops and nene. they are going to watch the girls until sat. while i go see my other dear friend. i am so excited.

* what a blessed weekend i had. God you are so good!!!!!

can you hear the sound of spring break?????

i can hear it all through the land. can you? i hear the sound of happy teachers everywhere. their smile is a little brighter, their step a little peppier, their laughter a little louder. the sky looks a little better, all smells, smell a little better.

i am so ready for spring break, for so many reasons. i am going home. i am going to see family that i haven't seen in a little over two months. yea!!!!!! we are going to have hannah's bday with family. I AM SO READY TO JUST SIT AND VISIT WITH MY FAMILY. no rushing, no hurrying, just visiting. I MISS MY FAMILY SOOOOO MUCH. I MISS JUST BEING ABLE TO CALL THEM UP AND GO AND DO SOMETHING. THAT IS PROBABLY THE HARDEST THING ABOUT BEING UP HERE. Gosh!!!! I miss my sisters. and i am going to see my very special friend that has moved toooooo far away from me. i am sure we will have a few pj days.

i am so excited. i can't wait to see my sisters. i can't wait to see my mom. i can't wait to see many other friends, that i haven't seen in a long time. i have not been on a plane in such a long time. i am a little nervous about finding my gate. i have never done that by myself.

this has been a difficult year. so i am ready for any break i can get. however, i am beginning to enjoy living up here. david let me pick out my 20th anniversary present early. i went into the stonebriar mall and went into the coach store. he let me buy a spring coach purse right from the store, not an outlet store. ITIS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!!!! IT LOOKS JUST LIKE ME!!!!! IT HAS MY PERSONALITY ALL OVER IT. it is peachy, pink. It is so pretty. now i know that i should not be so happy and excited about a purse, but i am. it has the new kind of c's on it.

i just can't wait. the week can't go by fast enough. i won a free 45 minute break from my class at our school Christmas party. i saved it for a special day. so friday i am going to get to leave school at 2:15 to start heading home. yea!!!!! i am so ready, did i already say that a few times?

we are giving our first math practice taks test this thursday. i am not ready for the results. ihave worked so hard this year. but i don't think my scores are going to show that in april when we take the real thing.
